35-year-old Emily Cox is a British actress and currently lives in Berlin and Vienna. She plays the lead female role of Brida in the British television series ‘The Last Kingdom’ (2015). Cox was born in Vienna to a British father and an Irish mother. Her parents later divorced. Both of them are pianists. Cox grew up in Vienna and graduated from high school in 2003. Since 2015 she has been playing the role of Viking woman Brida in the TV series ‘The Last Kingdom’. She made her mark among international audiences. Cox has also appeared in a few films including ‘The Fatherless’ (2011), ‘The Silent Mountain’ and ‘Head Full of Honey’ (2018).
